MAX DOG BEER TANK ACCUSED OF BEING SUICIDE TOOL

AHPRA Investigating Dr. Nitschke After Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Vice-Chair Complains About Nitrogen System

Paul Russell, the Executive Director of the anti-euthanasia group HOPE, and also vice-chair of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition International, has filed a formal complaint to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) against Dr. Philip Nitschke of Exit International.

It is alleged that Dr. Nitschke may not be fit for registration as a health practitioner as he is accused of developing, marketing, and selling a device for suicide.  The device in question is a nitrogen tank marketed under the name Max Dog Brewing.  It is alleged that the nitrogen tank is not associated with any brewing company.

Breathing 100% nitrogen is fatal since humans must have oxygen to survive.  Exit’s website and book The Peaceful Pill Handbook note that if a person dies from breathing 100% nitrogen, the cause of death cannot be determined from tissue analysis.  However, a witness or evidence at the scene, such as the nitrogen tank, tubing, and hood could verify the actual cause of death.
